I started out as a social dancer at the University of Wisconsin . Madison Ballroom Dance Association in 1999. I would occasionally compete with the Badger Ballroom Dance team from Madison while going to competitions and being the .Team Mom. of the team. I continue to dance socially and compete on occasion.
I have been volunteering with the Greater NY Chapter of USA Dance for the past year and a half since the Manhattan Amateur Classic (MAC) in 2008. I volunteer at many of the collegiate competitions throughout the Northeast from general troubleshooting to deck captaining to scrutineering. I am also in charge of the awards at USA Dance Nationals each year.
